Essential, 2-in-1 Grill Pack, 2-in-1 Plancha Pack or 3-in-1 Pack: which should I choose?
The Essential includes the stove and pot support. The 2-in-1 Grill Pack adds the grill; the 2-in-1 Plancha Pack adds the plancha. The 3-in-1 Pack includes both accessories. A digital guide is included free with all four options.
What is included in the 2-in-1 Pack: Grill or Plancha?
Each version includes the Essential stove, pot support, one 30 × 30 cm accessory and the free digital guide. Choose the 5 mm steel grill for grilling, or the 4 mm steel plancha for a solid cooking surface. Only one accessory is included; the 3-in-1 Pack includes both.
What does the 3-in-1 Pack include?
The Essential stove with cookware support, the 30 × 30 cm grill in 5 mm steel, the 30 × 30 cm plancha in 4 mm steel and the digital guide. Wood, cookware and a grease collection container are not included.
Can the grill or plancha work on their own?
No. They are accessories designed for the Rocket Stove Essential. You can add them after buying the Essential without changing the stove. When sold separately, they do not include the Rocket Stove.
Is my pan or pot suitable?
Use cookware suitable for wood-fired cooking and the support. If unsure, send IronEmber its diameter, loaded weight and intended use before ordering.
How does the Rocket Stove work and which wood should I use?
The vertical flue promotes draught and directs heat towards the cooking surface. Use small pieces of dry wood and suitable fire-lighting materials. No gas or electrical connection is needed.
How do I feed the fire and control the heat?
Add wood through the front fuel door. Adjust the front air intake door and the amount of wood to manage combustion. Follow the guide and use suitable heat protection.
Where can I use it?
Outdoors only, in an open area on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Never in a garage, van, tent or other enclosed space. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and local fire restrictions.
How do I empty the ash?
The ash collector is at the rear. Wait until the fire is out and the stove has cooled completely before emptying it. Check that no embers remain and follow the care instructions.
What are the dimensions and weight?
The Essential stove measures 70 × 45 × 20 cm and weighs 14 kg. The grill weighs 5 kg; the plancha and other accessories add to this. Plan for space and transport: this equipment is better suited to a garden or established camp than hiking.
What is the difference between the grill and plancha?
The open 30 × 30 cm grill in 5 mm steel is for grilling. The 30 × 30 cm plancha in 4 mm steel provides a solid surface for eggs, vegetables and burgers. The cookware support holds suitable pots and pans.
How do I collect grease from the plancha?
The raised edges and channel guide grease towards the notch. Place a stable container suitable for hot grease underneath, away from flames. The container is not included. Wait for everything to cool before handling.
Where and how is the stove made?
IronEmber Rocket Stoves are designed and assembled by hand in France. The Essential stove uses 3 mm steel; parts are laser-cut and assembled using craft manufacturing methods.
How do I care for bare steel?
Protect the equipment from rain and moisture. Once cool, follow the manufacturer’s cleaning, seasoning and care instructions. Bare steel can develop surface oxidation and its patina changes with use.
When will my order arrive?
The shipping policy states preparation generally takes 1–3 working days, followed by 2–5 working days for delivery within France. These times are indicative. Check the Shipping page and checkout information for your destination.
What if I want to return the product?
Contact contact@ironember.shop within the stated 30 days after delivery. The return policy requires an unused product in its original condition and proof of purchase. Return shipping is at your cost unless IronEmber made an error or the product is defective. This is not a free trial involving use of the product.
